As weird as it may sound , this in reality is not the first time Batman and Scooby have thwart paths . Batman and Robin have helped Scooby and his friends lick mysteries in the old Scooby - Doo cartoons , and more recently they met in theScooby - Doo Team - Upcomics . So in a way Batman could call Scooby an old champion . Though it ’s unclear if the movie will be lead their prior fundamental interaction into bill since the prevue shows a view where Batman is surprised that Scooby ca n’t tell direction while drive .
The trailer , released byIGN , also bear witness that there will be a short ton of other DC characters demonstrate up in the enigma . On the side of the right guy there are conversant faces like Martian Manhunter , Black Canary , Aquaman , and Plastic Man among others . However , it appears the main villain may be someone neither Scooby nor Batman have run into before as a flying red ghost can be visit in multiple scenes . Though in classic Scooby - Doo style , it also would n’t be surprising if the ghost was reveal to be someone the grouping encounters during the mystery but does n’t know is the suspect .
Scooby - Doo ! & Batman : The Brave and the Boldwill be coming out directly to abode release this January , so fans will be capable to kick off 2018 with some more of the Dark Knight in their lives . Meanwhile Scooby - Doo fans should be used to these types of crossover by now since Scooby and his friends have made a regular use of it .
