All of that led up tothe recentStranger Thingsseason 2 trailer , which extend strong hint about the menace come to Hawkins . But in the retiring week , affair have n’t slowed down .
Yesterday , a brand new image from season 2 ofStranger Thingswas unfreeze , ride some of the playfulness that will occur before the terror start up . Of course , the darkness hulk in the new season has also been at the head of marketing . A promo from earlier this week once again put the focal point onthe molder pumpkin mystery . We first saw the ghoulish gourds in a bill poster for the show , but the new video teased that it ’s a sign of braggy matter to come . Now , the dilapidate fruit are once more in the spot thanks to a new poster for the show .
Netflix released the brand - new poster for time of year 2 ofStranger Thingsand it link the many elements of the upcoming episodes . Done in a style reminiscent of ' LXXX motion picture card , the main characters and the new comer to Hawkins all gather under the astonishingly ominous glow of Eleven and the phantasma monster .
Right out , it ’s hard not to read into the pattern . We can see the phantasm monster up top and the rot pumpkins below , with all the returning persona in the centre . There are alsonew additions Billy and Max , but no sign of Sean Astin ’s Bob . The front of Eleven looming large under the shadow lusus naturae also likely points to a connexion . The other noticeable elements are the colonnade house - also tease in the recent pumpkin promo and which looks to have some Upside Down remainder on it - a scarer , and a railcar ’s headlamp . Those last two could plainly be generic spooky mental imagery , but expect them to crop up up at some head in the time of year .
Along with the new poster , the soundtrack for the new season has also been poster on Spotify . Like with season one , Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein of the band S uranium radius V I five E did the grudge , bringing their key signature synth - wave speech sound to the skittish show .
