Of course , as intriguing as the new look at the character is , fan ca n’t help but wonderwhy Cable has a teddy bearwith him in the photo . Is it an pert item ? A nod to a promo range from the firstDeadpool ? Or something else entirely ? For most lover , the shot immediately brought to mind young Hope Summers . A variation born in a time when no novel one were appear , Hope and Cable are chased throughout clip as they struggle to survive against those who wish well the little girl injury . Now , a new pic adds a footling more grounds that this plot point could have in next year ’s moving picture .

While the way option is a fair common one in dystopian fiction , the poncho is iconic enough that Hope herself eventually dons it when she returns to the present . While it ’s barely concrete evidence , it ’s get rugged to disregard the cue that keep pointing towards the arrival of Hope Summers .
The variousX - Menfranchises are always look to expand their mutant rosters , and Hope has a mountain of news report electric potential . Not only does she add some blending to Cable , but her story allows for lots of time traveling adventures that we could see wager out inX - Forceor a Cable spinoff .
