How To Find The Secret Room
When spawning in to the Tower , make a nimble twist to your left and begin the regular run to the Hangar . Over the catwalk , down the stairs , around the turning point to the right , and directly towards the Amytal - unhorse hall with the large ' Hangar ' marker in red on the left wall . Now , when you make this net spell at the blue light , take a moment to note your overhead surroundings .
It should be possible to see a welder on a catwalk above , with the perspective stymie by a number of steel beam and supports . In the aloofness is the entrance to the Hangar itself , but if you ’ve already gotten the hike to jumping and speed awarded for completing the Tower ’s ' Floor is Lava Challenge , ' then the next part of this guide can be push aside . Simply leap up into the beams , and your Guardian should hoist themselves up right next to the welder .
If you ’re more interested in lore and possible teaser of mysteries yet to be explored , neglect that challenge , and proceed down into the Hangar entrance . Again , break at the threshold .
Looking straight forward , another welder should be visible on another overhead catwalk forthwith opposite the entranceway . That ’s where you ’ll head , but to get there , make an immediate right turning and go up the multi - level metal stairway to its top level ( then follow the obvious catwalk over to the welder ’s placement ) . Once you ’ve reached his side , you should be able to await across the Hangar to the welder above the entrance - and note the railway between your location and his , specifically the gap in the railing to the right of the entryway .
continue to the right , but hop the railing down onto the parallel pipes ( a set of bright bloodless lights cross off the smirch to make the leap ) . Get up to a sprint and do n’t be afraid to turn off the quoin next to the massive alloy pipe , and you should glide to the other paseo with ease . Then it ’s up the stairs , through some ductwork , and into the Tower ’s undercover room … and the closed book ofAna Bray .
Upon entering the way overlooking the Hangar , top dog to the large table to find a chalice , a journal , and a few digital notepad . When investigating the items , your ghost will take down who the diary originally belong to … and why you may have stumbled onto a secret too large to yet understand :
" Looks like a daybook : Ana Bray . But I ca n’t tell who - Pretty much the entire thing is redacted . And there are whole page missing . Something about all this seems … incorrect . Am I worrying too much ? "
It ’s a bigger reveal than fooling fans may make . But to grasp the importance of Ana Bray , and why her personal account being censor could be a sign of a much larger conspiracy , we ’ll need to dive much deeply into the mythology ofDestiny …
Who is The Guardian Ana Bray?
To know just what Bungie ’s fabricator may be driving at here , it ’s deserving brush up on House Bray in the traditional knowledge ofDestiny 2 . The name might ring a Alexander Bell for the first soul to actually wield it : Clovis Bray , the human who live on during the Golden Age and founded the sizable Mars corporation named after him . The company played a great role in theRise of Ironstoryline , but Clovis and his descendants as best have sex for create SIVA , the nanotechnology that plagued the Cosmodrome and role player in the same narration .
As forAnaBray , her mention have been of a far more glowing , heroic sort . It may be simplest to say that among the older Guardians who once defend the City following the Collapse , Ana Bray became a legend for her skills in combat . Specifically renowned for her acquirement as a Hunter Gunslinger in the defense of the City at the Battle of Twilight Gap - the location where the Fallen , under the leading of the House of king , climb up their greatest attack . An blast in which Ana Bray ’s valorousness became legend - and Lord Shaxx go the City and its Guardians to triumph .
So , what does all this have to do with Ana Bray ’s journal locked aside in a conceal room in the new Tower ? Well , the significance of the Battle of Twilight Gap , and the large City defense in which it took place ca n’t be understated . LongtimeDestinyplayers will know that the defence of the City was led , at the prison term , by the Vanguard Commander Saladin Forge - eventually go away the City behind to become the primary Iron Lord grapheme inRise of Iron . It ’s also deserving bonk that , when the massive fire on the City take place , Saladin had two schoolchild to control in the defense : Zavala , the loyal scholar who would by and by become the Titan Vanguard in Saladin ’s place , and Shaxx , the soldier who defied Saladin ’s orders , and launched his monumental counterattack at Twilight Gap .
Shaxx - finally Lord Shaxx - is still complain around the secret plan , impossible to miss thanks to his one - tusk - helmet and acting as the guardian of the game ’s Crucible . He actually founded the Crucible in the game ’s fabrication after Twilight Gap , intended to indurate the City ’s Guardians for such a trial . But there ’s a ground why Saladin , Zavala , and Shaxx are n’t warm and favorable . Shaxx ’s choice to defy orders save the City … but had his plan failed , he would have doomed everyone within it . Which makes it pretty interesting that Ana Bray is one of the only other hero mentioned as prominent in that conflict … and why her journal is now turning up , with pages and entire section removed .
Bungie has dropped little selective information about Bray to this point , but the uprise prominence of the character reference surrounding her most iconic role in theDestinyfiction could be telling . Whether it ’s a sign that the the true of the Battle of Twilight Gap will be something hidden - something"wrong"- or just a compelling narrative Bungie is stringing through its lore , it ’s a question they want fan to be asking .
