Fate had given me a second probability and I snatch it up .
Most of my college years ( 1999 - 2003 ) involved hard - partying pelt with some light studying - but in all the bedlam I chip at a special place out forDragon Ball Z.I never missed an installment , every good afternoon on Cartoon internet , and flush it that , I was surely there for the previous - night repetition . I ( and alot of my friends ) stayed glue to the saga of Goku , an alien warrior raised on Earth who defends humanity from interstellar warrior bent on conquering and/or destroying the universe by using seven magical flying dragon balls which grant one wish to the one who collect them all .

Heck , one half - hour episode could expend fifteen minutes on a character " charging up " his super powers for a fight , without ever getting to the battle ! And we were somehow on the sharpness of our seats !
My obsession did n’t end with the show either : the only telecasting games I ever had import from Japan were ( you venture it)Dragon Ball Zgames . I could n’t read a Word of God of the education , it could take me weeks to figure out how to fiddle it , but again , I ( and my bro ) loved every arcminute of it , trade karate blows and massive vitality blasts , battling it out with our favorite spikey - haired character .
By the time I finished the fourth and final ( and epic ) installment of theDragon Ball Zseries post - college , I feel like I had finish an larger-than-life journey . One that had not only journeyed me through an activity - packed story of warriors in battle , but also through a significant time in my life , out of high school , through college and into manhood . It ’s a unusual through - bloodline to have , I know , but hey , it ’s what I got .
