Both of Gunn’sGuardians of the Galaxyfilms have been defined by certain hallmarks . Raucousopening recognition sequences , killer soundtracks , and a good for you portmanteau word of irreverent humour , cosmic activeness , and lots of heart are all par for the course .
Both of Gunn ’s Marvel films have also featured polar moment where a fictitious character go to save the ease of the squad , with Groot sacrificing himself in the first moving picture and Yondu follow suit in this year ’s sequel . Gunn ’s honorable mention of flashbacks and prequels is interesting here . We ’ve heard rumors that Yondu will be back inAvengers : Infinity War , which seems like the sort of cheap and immediate negation that Gunn was railing against . Of naturally , with the power of the Infinity Stones , there are all way of style that Yondu could appear without sincerely being back from the dead .
