In an exclusive interview with Screen Rant , Brolin admit that his experience withJonah Hexnearly turn him off from ever doing a superhero movie again .
" Well , you know what , I entail , a good story is a good story and I never told myself … I agree with you . I was kind of the same style . I was like , I just do n’t see that , you bonk , and I wish doing these other types of pic and whatever that means , and we kind of dip our fingers intoJonah Hexand that did n’t turn out so well . So I was like , you know , I had an aim for that movie and I did n’t reach it . "
But things change when Marvel ’s Kevin Feige approached Brolin about appear inAvengers : Infinity War . And it all fall down to a near story , which is something most would match that theJonah Hexfilm just did n’t really have .
" So I kind of stayed aside from that affair but you jazz , there ’s something that happens when you have the chance , first when Kevin Fiege is talking to you , and from a really like [ as ] a fan , you know , basis point of view and he ’s saying , ' We think of this great level and we always insure you doing it . ' And it ’s not the wish needs , but it ’s like all the Avengers against you . "
Then Brolin settle he also require to play Cable inDeadpool 2 , too . He mouth about his love for Ryan Reynolds and how he just could n’t turn down the role .
" I love doing , I love the termination , and thenDeadpoolhappened in the midsection of that and I was like , I ’ve already decided to do that , but I got a thing for Ryan ( Reynolds ) , man , you know , he ’s just a , I reckon he ’s a really voguish guy . He make a tone that was really unique and I just said , yeah , why not ? allow ’s do it . "
