When we met with Marvel Studios boss and manufacturer Kevin Feige in October on the set ofAnt - Man , one of the first things we asked about ( full interview here ! ) was whether or not this movie would insert the other founding member ofThe Avengers . But what about the next Wasp ?
When Evangeline Lilly was cast inAnt - Man , a proved whizz with action chops for her body of work inLostandThe Hobbittrilogy , we knew her role would become an authoritative one in the Marvel Cinematic Universe . Before production she bug herWasp - esque haircut , straight from the comics , and as the girl of Hank Pym , it made sentiency that she would finally become The Wasp . From what Feige allege at theAnt - Manpress sashay this weekend , that ’s on the dot the plan .

Since Hope is physically open and is a superb scientist , why would n’t Hank pass on down theAnt - Mansuit and tech to her ?
