Men in Black 3
human in Black IIIis one of the more troubled megahit productions of the preceding yr – plausibly even more so thanX - Men : First Class – having been plagued by rescript , holdup , creative differences , lagger parking fiascos , and actors dropping out ( Alec Baldwin sports fan were sorely foiled ) .
Still , it ’s hard to argue with the potentiality of the labor , thanks in part to an excellent cast and a fairly interesting – ifAustin Powers - esque – concept . Today , we have specify photos from the late New York shoot ofMIB3 , depicting alien ironware and 1960s vehicles .
Barry Sonnenfeld and company have been shooting down in the New York financial territorial dominion for week now , with extras wearing 1960s modernistic - style outfits and what have you , but this is the first time we ’ve seen any logical foreign ironware . It ’s nice to see the output value are still in the good place , but it ’s hardly surprising for series that has made a billion box federal agency buck .
For those who do n’t recallthe game ofMIB3 :
The story roll around Agent J ( Will Smith ) traveling back to 1969 to stop an alien list Boris the Biker – played by Jemaine Clement(Flight of the Conchords ) – from kill Agent K before he can become … well , Tommy Lee Jones .
It ’s a story that could pay off both creatively and humorously , if it does n’t get bogged down in clock time travel and/or Forrest Gump whatsis , a la the aforementionedAustin Powers : The Spy Who Shagged Me . Hopefully , there were n’t too many fingers in the Proto-Indo European ( or hands in the pot ) for the celluloid ’s own good . With an ever - expanding budget of $ 215 million , it ’s probably going to postulate the benefit of ' calibre ' to make its money back .
