His collaboration with director David F. Sandberg helped craft what looks to be themost fun DC movie yet .
The premiss ofShazam!alone set in meridian position for a comedic take , as teenager Billy Batson ( Angel ) gains the ability to transform into a fully - grow , adult superhero . It also give Angel less of a encumbrance to carry as the Pb of the movie since Zachary Levi play the other half of the titulary grinder . There ’s yet to be an official facial expression at the film beyond a logotype , but its genius is now done filming .

Its easy to see why Angel is so excited to be done withShazam ! . This is his first major motion-picture show role after spending time on TV withAndi Mack . The project is a big stone’s throw in his vocation and a major learning experience , if nothing else . That feeling was believably common on set too with Sandberg making the saltation from horror flicks likeLights OutandAnnabelle : Creationto a major superhero picture show .
The timing ofShazam!wrapping up production falls right in line of reasoning with the early production schedules . So , while this is n’t a total surprisal that is coming to a finis , its another sign that everything related toShazam!has been get along smoothly . There ’s been no bad buzz or reported troubles , which gives this DC moving picture a leg up on most of the other instalment that have been plagued by bad PR over the past few yr .
While it is n’t whole clear yet if the entire product forShazam!is done , Angel is n’t the first cast member to wrap up yield . His fellow young cast member previously share they were done film too . Once the production is formally finished , then it will hopefully be only a matter of time before more point on the movie are release . The studio has yet to release an official feel at Levi as Shazam despite several set photograph surfacing . Unless that spirit come in when the entire cast and work party is wrapped , the wait for such a reveal may last till SDCC this summertime .
