Suspiria
The approaching remaking of horror classicSuspiriawill be something wholly different . The originalSuspiriawas directed by Italian repugnance maestro Dario Argento and tell the story of an American educatee arriving at a German dance academy , and slowly realizing it ’s tend by a beldame . Guadagnino has been talking about his take onSuspiriain a new interview withCriterionand revealed the project is something very personal to him .
" I have three months until I finish up it . It ’s a very peculiar film , and I ’m majestic of it . I wonder all the time how hoi polloi will react to it , being that it is found on a chef-d’oeuvre . It will be interesting to see what direction this novel take will go in . Suspiriais a unique celluloid and is n’t really a natural candidate for a glossy remake .
