Ever since the firstGuardians of the Galaxy , Marvel fans have been waiting for the 24-hour interval that Adam Warlock is brought into the MCU . With the wayGuardians of the Galaxy Vol . 2ended , the postponement for Warlock should not be too much longer . While he wo n’t be introduced inAvengers : Infinity War , he is expected to seem inGuardians of the Galaxy Vol . 3 .
wonder Studios and cosmic supervisor James Gunn may not yet be in the casting stage for the role , but buff have had their favorites picked for years . Many of these suggestion may no longer be candidates with Gunn clarifying his desire to disgorge a young male in the use . So , what about Luke Bracey ?

The 28 - class - honest-to-goodness actor is much younger than popular proffer Matthew McConaughey and has the potential drop to continue and grow through the industry - something the role of Warlock would all but ensure . He may still be proving his power as a conduct man , but he certainly looks the part .

With this just being fan artwork and there being no genuine adhesive friction behind Bracey being dramatis personae , this design merely evince a variation of what Bracey could count like as Warlock . His course light-haired hair matches well with Warlock ’s comic expression , but he could have a unlike look in the film . free-base on how Ayesha ( Elizabeth Debicki ) and the rest of Sovereign race look inVol . 2 , it is expected that Warlock too will have the gold - paint skin - unless Ayesha creates him with some conflict on purpose .
Bracey has only been play since 2009 , but has found some renowned projects in late years . He rebooted Keanu Reeves ' part as Utah in the 2015Point Breakremake . While that project did not do as well as desired , he exhibit his spectacular chop in a supporting character in Mel Gibson’sHacksaw Ridge . If he is eventually cast as Warlock , it would undoubtedly be his big character to date . That said , Bracey is already two long time older than Debicki . Warlock ’s years / form has been teased to be an adult that is still quite young , soGunn may trust someone even younger(think early XX ) to at last play the part . If he does go a moment older , Bracey could be a solid pick and sure enough can pull off the superhero aspect .
