The two discuss Danny ’s demise . Reuben cautions Debbie against the heist that she has plan , telling her that while her chum think it was superb , it would still land her back in jail . Of course , Debbie does n’t handle .
The scene between Debbie and Reuben could have earlier included Linus , played by Damon , and Saul , play by Reiner . Despite Debbie ’s scuttlebutt , Linus and Saul seem like the more obvious selection of who would break the intelligence of Danny ’s last . When interview , Damon state that he " was just there for exhibition " , rather than dally a role in the armed robbery . to boot , Reiner shared that he had a scene with Sandra Bullock . Reuben ’s tantrum with Debbie in the cemetery is that precise Cartesian product of exposition , Bullock , and an original casting member cameo .
If the petition against Damon caused a reshoot , replacing Damon and Reiner with Gould could have been a immediate resolution . It is also potential that Damon ’s aspect is another scene completely that was cut and not supplant — either because of the petition or some other unknown reason .
