Ubisoft ’s new releaseAssassin ’s Creed Odysseyfeatures some fashionable naval combat and just to make thing a little more interesting , they ’ve thrown in a few shark . The latest installment in theAssassin ’s Creedfranchise is primed for handout in October of this year .
Odysseysticks to the usual formula of two stories running side by side : one set in the innovative day and one set inside the Animus reliving the memories of the primary character ’s ancestor . The game is set in Ancient Greece circa 431 BCE , 400 years before its predecessor , 2017’sAssassin ’s Creed Origins , and gives the musician a choice of two graphic symbol : Alexios and Kassandra . Jonathan Dumont , Odyssey ’s creative theater director did an Ask Me Anything ( AMA ) on Reddit to answer fans ’ question about the game . In answer to being asked if ships had the same grandness as inBlack Flag , Dumont replied that although naval fighting is not so much a heart and soul element , it does have a potent place inOdysseyonly with more naive weaponry so as to remain unfeigned to the earned run average . Dumont then dropped the real bombshell when he mentioned“cleaving a ship in half and seeing her crew devoured by sharks ! ”
